Iris – colored part of the eye -During dilation this is expanded to view the health of the retina
Lens- crystalline lens that allows our eye to focus up close, stiffens in our 40s that requires us to wear reading glasses, and ultimately where cataracts form
Vitreous – Gelly part of our eye that with age liquifies and floaters form
Retina – Sensory part of the eye where light is processed into an image
Optic Nerve- an extension of our Central Nervous System connecting to our brain
Emmetropia: Light is focused on retina
Myopia: Nearsightedness
Hyperopia: Farsightedness
Presbyopia: Farsightedness due to being over the age of 40
